Blu-Ray & Disc Choices

Having your Super8 Movie Film converted to digital is the first step in process of transferring your film. Once your film has been converted to digital, you need to decide if you want your files on a hard drive, video file for your computer, DVD or Blu-Ray - or all of the above!

Blu-Ray: If you want a High Definition transfer for you Super8 film and want to watch it quickly & easily on your TV using your Blu-Ray player than a Blu-Ray is best suited for you.

DVD: If you want a standard definition transfer for your Super8 film and want to watch it quickly & easily on your TV, then a DVD is best suited for you.

Blu-Ray technology is extremely new and many Blu-Ray players on the market today still have problems reading a "burned" Blu-Ray disc even with the latest firmware updates. If you order Blu-Ray, we do not guarantee that your player will be able to read it. Over time, the Blu-Ray manufacturers will work out the kinks and provide consumers with more versatile players. You will need to check with your Blu-Ray Player Manual to see what types of discs it can play.

Video Files

If you decide that you want a Video File instead of, or in addition to your DVD or Blu-Ray Disc we can provide that. Video Files are versitile because you can view and edit the files on your computer, or online using Pixorial. You can post video files onto social media sites such as FaceBook, YouTube, Twitter or blogs. Video files can be viewed on tablets and smart phones, the possibilites are endless.
