Frame By Frame Transfers

Frame By Frame produces a higher quality transfer than real-time transfers.

Don't be fooled by a company that says you can't tell the difference between a real time transfer & frame by frame transfers. Frame by Frame transfers means that a picture is taken or scanned of each frame of film. Those images are then combined into a video- creating your video file. An important part of your video experience is ensuring that your film is set at the correct frames per second. Depending on the settings of the camera when the film was shot, will change the speed of the film. By having your film transferred frame by frame, we can manually adjust the frame rate so that your video plays at the correct speed. If your film is shot real time, you will not be able to ensure that the speed is correct. This will leave your video playing too fast or too slow. Frame by Frame also produces crisper images, whereas real time images are slightly blurry.

Knowing this, why would you consider having your film transferred real time?
